Our Design & Building Process
Knowledge, experience, and collaboration — this is when it all comes together to fulfill your personal vision of your dream home. Our team will work with you every step of the way to ensure that your vision is perfectly realized. Below are the usual steps in this creative collaboration. Each homeowner is unique, so your process will be customized to fit your specific wants and needs.
Pre-Design
This is a general meeting to discuss floor plan options, budget, and room-by-room wish list. If you want to proceed with us, we will have an architect draw up a rough plan and do an initial walkthrough of the property you have purchased to inspect the terrain and build site.
Pre-Construction
The second meeting is to revise and adopt the architect’s rough plan. We will then develop a project cost estimate. Next is the approval of the plan, budget, specifications, and completion of the contract. Finally, you will begin selecting the interior details of your future home.
Construction
Now we can start building! There will be regular walk-throughs of your home to keep you updated throughout the entire process. We will work with our trades and engineers to synchronize all the moving parts to complete your home on schedule, on budget, and on concept.
Post-Construction
You can finally close and move into your new home!
